CASS
CASS I & II have gotten off to a fantastic start, and it's thrilling to see the students so engaged and eager to learn! This week, we covered a lot of ground, starting with an exploration of the Construction Industry’s impact, benefits, career opportunities, and educational pathways. We also had the chance to experiment with various VR equipment, offering immersive career exploration experiences that bridge classroom learning with real-world careers.

In addition, we supported different SSHS departments by repairing a football training sled and a wheelchair. The CASS II Seniors took their skills to the next level by upgrading our welding lab with several new projects. Meanwhile, CASS I students in grades 10-12 met with Advanced Technologies Consultant Mr. James Peterson, who highlighted the significance of automation and robotics in transforming industries through their versatility, rapid setup, and enhanced safety. Many students collaborated to program and operate the world’s #1 top collaborative robot, Universal Robot gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology.
