Local Student Sought to Represent Siloam Springs in Model AR House of Representatives
A unique opportunity is now open for high school students in the Siloam Springs area to engage in public service and civic education. The Academy for Public Service is seeking one student to represent the region in their Model Arkansas House of Representatives program. This immersive experience will take place in Little Rock from June 9th to 13th, 2025.
As part of the academy's mission to teach students how to harness their voices and address societal challenges, participants will develop practical solutions to local and state issues. The program empowers students to become ambassadors for their communities while serving in a simulated legislative environment.
"Our goal is to cultivate well-rounded, empowered servant leaders who are equipped to strengthen democracy in the 21st century," said a spokesperson for the Academy for Public Service. "This is a great chance for local students to gain first-hand experience in public service, leadership, and government."
