On October 24 and 25, SSHS students will have the exciting opportunity to explore career paths in skilled trades through the "Be Pro Be Proud" Simulation Trailer, hosted on campus. Students will visit the trailer during their CTE classes, immersing themselves in hands-on experiences that highlight high-demand professions available in Arkansas.
This initiative, led by the Associated Industries of Arkansas Foundation, aims to bridge the gap between ambition and opportunity. It connects students with a future in skilled professions, offering both personal pride and professional stability. Arkansas is home to thousands of open positions for those with the talent and determination to enter these fields, many of which offer the chance to learn while you earn.
Skilled trades offer more than just a job – they provide a sense of pride in building something meaningful. From construction to advanced manufacturing, Arkansas’s top employers are actively seeking the next generation of professionals. For students interested in discovering these career options, the Simulation Trailer will serve as a launchpad for exploring innovative, in-demand professions.
