CASS II Seniors Celebrated for Community Service Contributions
On October 31st, a special ceremony honored the CASS II Seniors for their outstanding commitment to Kind At Heart Ministries (KAH). Over the past two months, these dedicated students have devoted more than 40 hours to community service, engaging in various projects that included building fences, raised garden beds, decks, digging ditches, pouring concrete slabs, and constructing wooden ramps.
The event featured inspiring remarks from Mr. Wayne Thomas, Executive Director of KAH, along with Mayor Judy Nation and project sponsors Ms. Deloris Whorton, Mr. Ron and Deborah Stumbaugh, Mr. Ron and Sandra Mooney, Mr. Bill and Delia Haak (Arkansas State Representative), and Mr. Denny and Amy Hardbarger. Each speaker praised the students for their dedication to making a positive impact in their community.
During the ceremony, each student received a framed certificate of completion, along with heartfelt words of wisdom from the guests. The celebration also included photo opportunities and a delightful selection of food and desserts, allowing students and guests to mingle and share in the accomplishments of these young men.
