SSHS

Students and parents, mark your calendars! Career and Academic Planning (CAP) Conferences are just around the corner. These essential meetings, designed to help students map out their academic and career goals, will take place on March 18, 20, and 21. Scheduled times are March 18 and 20 from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m., and March 21 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Please note that there will be no school on March 21 unless a student has a scheduled CAP appointment.

Students selected their CAP appointment times during Advisory on February 24, ensuring a time slot that works for both them and their parents/guardians. Attendance at CAP conferences is mandatory for both students and their parent/guardian. These meetings provide a structured opportunity for families to discuss academic pathways, graduation requirements, and future career aspirations.

At SSHS, our goal is to align students with the courses that best support their ambitions. Planning for the future starts now, and these conferences serve as a critical step in that process. Parents and guardians are encouraged to engage with their students in meaningful discussions about their academic and career interests to make the most of this opportunity.
